OAE is committed to the health and safety of our families and communities. The policies and procedures listed below reflect current requirements and best practices. WE know standards will evolve and change over time. Subsequent modifications will be publicized by the gym and will be in effect at that time.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW:

Returning and new All-Star athletes will begin the week of May 27th.

Public recreational Tumbling and Fitness classes will begin the week of June 1st.
-
Safety stations for athletes have been set up throughout the buildings and include hand sanitizers.
-
Cleaning stations are set up in each zone throughout the facility for staff.
-
All hard and soft surfaces are being sanitized on the hour utilizing CDC approved cleaning solutions.
-
The facility have been split up into zones that will keep sanitation records of each zone.
-
Athletes and staff will be responsible for bringing their own water bottles.
-
Signage and floor tape has been set out to direct the flow of traffic coming in and out of the building.
-
Certain areas in the gyms will be closed off to all and have been taped off for guidance.
-
Students will follow designated pathways once inside the building.
-
Classes will be staggered and class size will be reduced to limit congestion in the common areas.
-
ALL athletes must be pre-registered for classes, we will not have walk-in availability.
-
Athletes will be required to wear face coverings when entering the facility and between activities. Athletes will NOT be required to wear coverings during activities in classes.
EQUIPPED EMPLOYEES:

Our employees are subject to wellness checks each day. (Wellness policy defined in student safety guidelines)

We are following all PPE requirements by the Ohio Department of Health

Staff will wash/sanitize hands prior to and at the conclusion of class, practices and in between rotations.

Staff will have limited or no physical contact with children for the first phase of reopening followed by spotting as needed for safety.

Staff will be thoroughly trained on establishing and maintaining distancing and sanitizing standards.
ENTERING THE BUILDING:
FLOOR A:
TUMBLING AND ALLSTAR PRACTICE:

Families are asked to arrive no earlier than 10 minutes prior to the start of class/practice.
-
Due to safety procedures, If a student arrives more than 10 minutes after the start of class they will be prohibited from entering.
-
Parking spots closest to the building will be blocked to prevent congestion when entering and exiting.
-
Parents and students will remain in their vehicles until their class is signaled from the entrance. Look for a class sign.
-
Families will be entering at the main lobby door (Door 1) and exiting through the Floor A door (Door 2).
-
ONE (1) Parent and student will line up at the front door to go through our safety station where their health will be assessed and hands will be sanitized prior to entering the building.
-
Athletes will be required to wear face coverings when entering the facility and between activities. Athletes will NOT be required to wear coverings during activities in classes.
-
Once the student is cleared they will be permitted inside where a staff member will take attendance and direct the student to their holding zone.
-
Each zone contains markers that the student will stand on until they are called into class.

Each zone is defined by a pathway that leads out onto the floor. Students will remain on these pathways in the transition to the floor/equipment.

Students will bring their belongings with them to their warm up zone. (Belongings are defined in student safety guidelines and are very limited)
FLOOR B:
FITNESS & MINI CLASSES:

STUDENT SAFETY GUIDELINES:

The wellness policy is a commitment to adhere to self assessments including temperature checks, physical distancing, and 24 hours of no-symptoms to participate in programs at Ohio Adrenaline Elite.

Students and athletes will be required to sanitize their hands upon entry and exit of the facility.
-
Students and athletes will be required to wash or sanitize hands during water breaks or in between rotations.
-
Students should bring a small bag containing the following items: 1-2 water bottles filled, mask/face guard, hand sanitizer, athletic tape or brace if needed.
-
Athletes will be required to wear face coverings when entering the facility and between activities. Athletes will NOT be required to wear coverings during activities in classes.

Large backpacks will not be permitted to be stored in the gym at this time.
PARENT SAFETY GUIDELINES:

For the first phase of reopening, parent viewing will be limited to recreational classes only.
-
Masks and/or face coverings MUST be worn and a limit of ONE (1) parent/guardian per child is strictly enforced.
-
Parent/guardian MUST check in with their athlete at beginning of class/session and be directed to viewing area.
-
Congregating in the lobby is prohibited.
-
No exit and re-entry allowed.
-
Congregating in the parking lot/watching through garage doors is prohibited.
-
Please remain in vehicle if not entering to view.
-
If parent needs to enter lobby for any questions or concerns, face covering MUST be worn. We will limit parents to maintain social distancing guidelines.
REGISTRATION PROCESS AND TUITION:
-
Athletes will need to pre-register for any tumbling, fitness, or clinic offered.
-
All-Star athletes must be pre-registered as well.
-
No-Contact payments are encouraged at this time, ie: credit card/account on athlete's file.
-
All recreational tumbling and fitness classes must be pre-paid due to limited spot availability.
-
In the event participant is unable to attend due to health concern, a credit will be applied to the account for future session.

PHASES:
OAE has a comprehensive set of policies and procedures with three phases of reopening – each phase mandates different degrees of precaution and safety, from Phase 1, the most controlled, to Phase 3, our ‘back to normal’ level. New policies and procedures will be sent out upon entering a new phase.
Competitive Cheer

Competitive Cheer will begin practices to start our new season in June.

Team placements will be sent out individually via email June 1st.

Athletes will be placed by completing our Team Placement Form (SIGN UP HERE!)

Athlete placement may be adjusted thorough the summer to ensure proper placement, leading up to choreography.

All social distancing requirements will be met during these times

OAE will not be practicing stunting until approved by the State – this date is unknown at this time
Tumbling and Fitness Classes
-
Recreational public classes to reopen the week of June 1, 2020.
-
Customers/athletes will need to pre-register for each class planned to attend, as class times have been adjusted to accommodate distancing guidelines and ratios.

Lesson planning will reflect physical distancing between individual students and athletes.

During the phase in periods, equipment may be limited.
-
Certain fitness classes will recommend bringing personal equipment such as resistance bands, etc. if possible.
